THINK BLUE BEETLE – Volkswagen India (2012) Created for Volkswagen India’s “THINK BLUE” campaign, this luminous life size Beetle was assembled from over 2,805 pieces of scrap. Exhibited at New Delhi’s T3 International Airport, Mahim, and the Kalaghoda Arts Festival, the installation reimagines the classic car through discarded everyday objects.

Crafted with 800 spark plugs, 200 bottle caps, 60 motherboards, and an eclectic mix of audio cassettes, typewriters, pens, and barbeque sticks, the sculpture transforms waste into wonder. A detailed replica that glows with purpose, it embodies Volkswagen’s vision of sustainability while celebrating the artistry of recycling.
